The Department of Obstetrics and gynecology is the department with the highest volume of admitted patients at Kibungo referral Hospital. It has registered midwives, registered nurses, intern doctors, general practitioners, and 3 obstetricians and gynecologists among which one serves also as the director general of the hospital. The department has (53) beds, a theater room for cesarean sections and gynecological surgeries, and one ultrasound machine for inpatients and outpatients.
